A Scottish country dance lesson with the CadiLonians

New dancers’ classes

Our new dancers’ classes are an introduction to Scottish country dancing.

Do not worry if you have no dancing experience; everyone is welcome!

What to expect

You’ll practise the basic steps in both quick time and slow time.

You’ll learn the typical formations used in the dances.

You’ll put the steps and formations into practice in simple dances.

After the class you join our more experienced dancers for social dancing until 20:05. You’ll dance with them what you’ve learnt in the class!

You can see the programme for each week on the What we dance page.

How much do the classes cost?

The first class is free.

If you decide to stay, the cost for a 10-week course is just €20.

We are a non-profit association and all income is used to achieve the association’s aims.
